To celebrate the Europe Day, representatives of EU funded projects and of beneficiary institutions were engaged in several activities, among which the ‘EU Assistance Fair’ on 10th May 2017 taking place at the Europe Information Centre (EUIC) in Tirana.

EURALIUS had its own stand offering information and involving the public interested in the evolvement of the Justice Reform. Leaflets and publications of consolidated laws, both in English and Albanian, were offered to citizens interested to know more on EURALIUS’ work and the justice reform. In addition, visitors were invited to participate in a justice reform quiz.

Under the title ‘Sharing success of EU Assistance’ representatives of beneficiary institutions and some EU funded projects presented their activities and results in four panels: ‘Environment’, ‘Consumer Protection’, ‘Business Development’ and finally ‘Rule of Law and Anticorruption’. Tetis Lubonja, Director at the MoJ, and Agnes Bernhard gave a short insight into the co-operation between the EURALIUS and the justice institutions for the justice reform, capacity building in several justice institutions and institution development. Together with the presentations of the newly arrived PAMECA V team, the Anti-Corruption Twinning Project and other projects a comprehensive picture of the EU assistance in the Rule of Law area was provided.
