In view of COVID – 19 pandemics, EURALIUS in cooperation with the High Judicial Council, is assisting the courts with the implementation of videoconferencing tools with the aim to reduce the physical presence of litigants, lawyers, and court staff.
On 11 June 2020, the District Court of Lezha, supported by EURALIUS experts, successfully held the first remote hearing through Microsoft Teams cloud based videoconferencing platform, in a dissolution of marriage case. EURALIUS will continue to provide assistance so that all courts are enabled to use video conferencing for judicial proceedings.
