“On 8 October 2020, EURALIUS and the High Prosecutorial Council organized a Workshop “On the case law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) on disciplinary matters of magistrates’.

On 18 June 2020, EURALIUS V organized a webinar for judges interested in applying to the SPAK Court of First Instance.

"On Friday 12 June, the three judges of the High Court, Judge Sokol Sadushi, Judge Ervin Pupe and Judge Ilir Panda, met with a delegation of EURALIUS V, consisting of Mrs Agnes Berhard, Teamleader, and Mr Herman von Hebel, International Expert and Deputy Teamleader, in the premises of the High Court.

In view of COVID – 19 pandemics, EURALIUS in cooperation with the High Judicial Council, is assisting the courts with the implementation of videoconferencing tools with the aim to reduce the physical presence of litigants, lawyers, and court staff.

On 15 and 16 October 2019, EURALIUS organized a workshop on the 5-year strategic plan of the High Prosecutorial Council (HPC). The training took place in Vlora and was attended by nine HPC members, the Chief of Cabinet and three legal advisors, who participated extensively in discussions.
Earlier this year, EURALIUS had organised another workshop on the same topic, where the mission, vision and core values were discussed and defined by the HPC members.
During the event, EURALIUS experts delivered presentations on the main components of the strategy, while the HPC members and staff discussed the content of the expected results, objectives, indicators and targets.  HPC members and staff also discussed a risk management matrix regarding the realization of the strategy, and the content of a quarterly action plan for the year 2020.
The outcome of the workshop will be a revised version of the strategy that will be submitted to the HPC for further elaboration, revision–including through incorporation of the input from the main stakeholders following a public consultation–and final adoption of the strategic plan in the coming months.

On 11 and 12 July 2019 EURALIUS in cooperation with the Dutch Study Centre for the Judiciary (SSR) organized another two days workshop on revision of the curricula of the initial training programme of the School of Magistrates (SoM).

On 18-20 June 2019, EURALIUS organized a full three days’ workshop for two Standing Committees of the High Judicial Council, the Committee of Ethical and Professional Performance Evaluation and the Career Development Committee.

On 13 June 2019, EURALIUS in cooperation with the School of Magistrates (SoM) organized a training on mentoring activities.

On 28 May 2019, EURALIUS in cooperation with the School of Magistrates organized a training on mentoring activities.

On 23 and 24 May 2019 EURALIUS V in cooperation with the IRZ and the School of Magistrates organized a workshop on drafting commentaries in the framework of the Project on E-Commentary.
