On 3 March 2020, EURALIUS in cooperation with the School of Magistrates and the Italian Project AICS/CSM organized an open lecture with candidate magistrates of the first year of the initial training programme. International Experts delivered lectures on ‘Appeal against the decision not to initiate criminal proceedings and preliminary hearing: the Italian legislation and case law’. Candidate magistrates participated lively in the discussions and showed interest on comparing Albanian and Italian case law on preliminary hearing.
Training on ‘Appeal against the decision not to initiate criminal proceedings and preliminary hearing’
On 2 and 3 March 2020 EURALIUS in cooperation with the School of Magistrates and the Italian Project AICS/CSM organized a training of two days on ‘Appeal against the decision not to initiate criminal proceedings and preliminary hearing’. This training was conducted in the framework of the assistance that EURALIUS provides to the School of Magistrates in regard to the continuous training programme.
Training took place in Tirana and was attended by 40 magistrates who showed high interest for the topic and extensively participated in discussions.
Training on “Human trafficking, national and international law and practice”
On 21 February 2020, EURALIUS in cooperation with the School of Magistrates and the Italian Project AICS/CSM organized a training session on " Human trafficking, national and international law and practice ". This training was attended by judges at the first instance and appellate courts as well as prosecutors and judicial police officers at the first instance and appellate prosecution offices.
