On 18 and 19 November 2019, EURALIUS in collaboration with PAMECA and the School of Magistrates organized two days training on Anti-Mafia Law in Shkodra. This was the second regional training that followed up training on Anti-Mafia Law that took place in Vlora in October 2019.
During the training, PAMECA Experts delivered presentations on the Italian experience on the application of the Ant-Mafia Law. While EURALIUS Experts provided guidance regarding practical aspects of the law.
Training of Trainers on Implementation of the new Curricula
EURALIUS in cooperation with the Dutch Study Centre for the Judiciary (SSR) and the SoM organized a two days training of trainers on implementation of the newly adopted initial training curricula.
The training was attended by both full-time and part-time trainers engaged in the initial training curricula.
Meeting of judges to discuss ethical and professional evaluation draft acts
On 04 November, EURALIUS organised on behalf of the High Judicial Council (HJC) a roundtable meeting of judges from courts of all levels in the Republic of Albania. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the draft acts on the professional evaluation of judges and receive input from the judges on the structure and content of (i) the draft decision on professional evaluation of judges, (ii) the draft scoring scheme and related methodology, and (iii) the draft standard evaluation forms.
