On 17 December 2019, EURALIUS donated the e-commentary to the School of Magistrates.
The e-commentary is an electronic platform assisting in collecting, managing and disseminating of comments to Albanian laws, introduced and developed in-house by EURALIUS IV based on best practices and traditions in EU Member States and further operated and maintained by EURALIUS V. The e-commentary is available to the public free of charge through the webpage of the School of Magistrates.

On 10 - 11 and 12 - 13 December 2019, EURALIUS in collaboration with the School of Magistrates and the Albanian Chamber of Advocates organized two trainings on the impact of the Civil Procedure Code on increasing the efficiency of the civil proceedings.

On 18 and 19 November 2019, EURALIUS in collaboration with PAMECA and the School of Magistrates organized two days training on Anti-Mafia Law in Shkodra. This was the second regional training that followed up training on Anti-Mafia Law that took place in Vlora in October 2019.
During the training, PAMECA Experts delivered presentations on the Italian experience on the application of the Ant-Mafia Law. While EURALIUS Experts provided guidance regarding practical aspects of the law.

EURALIUS in cooperation with the Dutch Study Centre for the Judiciary (SSR) and the SoM organized a two days training of trainers on implementation of the newly adopted initial training curricula.
The training was attended by both full-time and part-time trainers engaged in the initial training curricula.

On 04 November, EURALIUS organised on behalf of the High Judicial Council (HJC) a roundtable meeting of judges from courts of all levels in the Republic of Albania. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the draft acts on the professional evaluation of judges and receive input from the judges on the structure and content of (i) the draft decision on professional evaluation of judges, (ii) the draft scoring scheme and related methodology, and (iii) the draft standard evaluation forms.

On 15 and 16 October 2019, EURALIUS organized a workshop on the 5-year strategic plan of the High Prosecutorial Council (HPC). The training took place in Vlora and was attended by nine HPC members, the Chief of Cabinet and three legal advisors, who participated extensively in discussions.
Earlier this year, EURALIUS had organised another workshop on the same topic, where the mission, vision and core values were discussed and defined by the HPC members.
During the event, EURALIUS experts delivered presentations on the main components of the strategy, while the HPC members and staff discussed the content of the expected results, objectives, indicators and targets.  HPC members and staff also discussed a risk management matrix regarding the realization of the strategy, and the content of a quarterly action plan for the year 2020.
The outcome of the workshop will be a revised version of the strategy that will be submitted to the HPC for further elaboration, revision–including through incorporation of the input from the main stakeholders following a public consultation–and final adoption of the strategic plan in the coming months.

On 14 and 15 October 2019, EURALIUS in collaboration with PAMECA and the School of Magistrates organized two days training on Anti-Mafia Law in Vlora. This is the first regional training and will be followed up by another training in Shkodra in November 2019.
During the training, PAMECA Experts delivered presentations on the Italian experience on the application of the Ant-Mafia Law. While EURALIUS Experts provided guidance regarding practical aspects of the law.
Experts from the School of Magistrates presented the Albanian experience and improvements on the efficiency of investigations, as well as the interpretation and application of the Anti-Mafia Law from the perspective of the Court of Serious Crimes.
Training took place in Vlora and was attended by 40 magistrates who showed high interest for the topic and extensively participated in discussions.

On 16-17 September 2019 EURALIUS in cooperation with the Dutch Study Centre for the Judiciary (SSR), organized a two days training of trainers on mentoring.

On 11 and 12 July 2019 EURALIUS in cooperation with the Dutch Study Centre for the Judiciary (SSR) organized another two days workshop on revision of the curricula of the initial training programme of the School of Magistrates (SoM).

On 26-27 June 2019, EURALIUS V in collaboration with PAMECA V and the School of Magistrates ('SoM') organized a third training on some amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code – “Judge of Preliminary Hearing” (the first training took place on 3-4 December 2018, second training took place on 3 June 2019).
